Quick fixes that often solve the problem before a technician visit.
- No power in part of the home
- Check the breaker panel and reset any tripped breakers. Press the reset button on any GFCI outlets in kitchens, baths, garage, and outside.
- Garbage disposal hums
- Turn it off. Press the red reset button underneath, then use the hex key in the bottom to free it.
- Furnace not running
- Check the thermostat batteries and settings, the furnace switch, and the filter.
- Clogged drain
- Use a drain snake or plunger. Please don’t use chemical drain cleaners.
- Smoke alarm chirping
- A chirp usually means a low battery. Replace it, and let us know if it keeps chirping.
Maintenance questions
How fast will someone respond?
We respond to every request within 24 hours. For an emergency, call (208) 247-1587 any time.
Do I need to be home for the repair?
No. We can give the vendor a one-time code to get into the home. Our vendors are trusted and insured, and we give 24 hours’ notice before non-emergency visits.
Who pays for repairs?
Damage you or your guests cause is billed to you. Repairs for a failure of the property itself, like a worn-out appliance or a leaking roof, are paid by the owner.
Can I send a request without photos?
No. Every maintenance request needs photos and a description of the issue, so we can send the right vendor with the right parts.
